Jonathan Watt - Give variables less ambiguous, more meaningful names. Always skip symbol files for non-existent binaries. Only os.makedirs() if not installing alongside binaries. Only print 'set debug-file-directory' message if not installing alongside binaries.

Ted Mielczarek - hack to make mac symbols work now that nightlies are universal 32/64. should be fixed to work correctly for both cases, but this is the quick hack version.

Jonathan Watt - Fix up script to work on Mac. On Mac the "[path to store in]" argument is not used - symbols are placed alongside the binaries since that's the only place Mac GDB will recognize them. So to download symbols, simply use something like: fetch-symbols.py /Applications/Firefox.app http://symbols.mozilla.org
