Bug 1297167 - Part 2: Add telemetry probes for BrowserAction popups, r=bsmedberg, kmag Add histogram for WEBEXT_BROWSERACTION_POPUP_OPEN_MS to track the amount of time it takes to open a browserAction popup. Add histogram for WEBEXT_BROWSERACTION_POPUP_PRELOAD_RESULT_COUNT to track how often a popup preload results in a popup being shown, vs a popup being cancelled, both after hover and after mousedown. bug 1291886 - clarify/fix locking in nsNSSComponent r=Cykesiopka, jcj Some of the locking in nsNSSComponent was inconsistent and/or just wrong. This clarifies what is protected by the lock and makes sure it is consistently acquired when those resources are accessed. This should also address potential deadlocks when other code would attempt to acquire nsNSSComponent resources during shutdown. This patch also removes some items in nsNSSComponent that are no longer relevant. MozReview-Commit-ID: 9iA5lfAixpj

Bug 1369581 - Requesting an optional permission that does not cause a prompt should succeed, r=aswan Currently, if an extension requests one or more optional permissions, and those permissions do not cause a prompt to be displayed, the framework will reject that request and not grant any permissions. This should be the opposite in that we should grant permission to those optional permissions event though no prompt is displayed. MozReview-Commit-ID: 6SeyFSv92Lo

Bug 1365772 - Refactor gfx blocklist tests to fail on unsupported platforms. r=kats They currently silently pass and early-exit under several conditions, which is really confusing if you're trying to actually run them properly. They should either be marked as skipping or failing to hint to the developer that something strange is happening. It appears that skip-if simply doesn't function correctly when applied to these tests, so fail-if is used. fail-if is also useful because it forces anyone introducing a new platform to evaluate how these tests should handle it.
