Bug 1319672 Part 2 - Check the line direction is not changed. Since the line direction affects the interpretation of float right or left, we should check aWM has the same line direction as mWritingMode. And this also guarantees that float added by AddFloat() has the same line direction as when querying the available space via GetFlowArea(). MozReview-Commit-ID: FGxVFbo910g

Bug 1320006 - Shell-quote the flags used for file_generate commands. r?mshal Ideally, we'd shell-quote more arguments, but that would also require different quoting for the make dependencies and the command line arguments, so go for the immediate need.

Bug 1317504 - Make MSVC builds use the LINK variable instead of LD At the same time, remove HOST_LD. It was only used for MSVC builds, which don't support cross-compile anyways, so we can, at least for now, use LINK for both host and target.

Bug 1317504 - Remove unused non-GCC/clang flags settings Compilers other than GCC, clang and MSVC have not been supported for a while, and have been explicitly rejected since bug 1259382. There are a few branches in old-configure that are taken for non-GCC/clang compilers, but all of them are later overwritten by the MSVC setup. So we just remove those.

Bug 1319959 - Set _topsrcdir, _objdir, MOZ_BUILD_ROOT and DIST from python configure. r?gps In some cases, on OSX, python's `os.path.realpath` and shell's `pwd -P` don't agree on the case of paths on case-insensitive filesystems. So make everyone agree by using the value from python configure.

Bug 1319333 - Switch linux 32-bit builds to --target=i586-linux-gnu. r?ted But still pretend they are for i686. In practice, this leads to no difference to builds with --target=i686-linux-gnu, but will allow to use the i586 rust target in the future without harcoding it.
