Bug 1602978 [wpt PR 20712] - [cssom-view] Make matchMedia tests not racy., a=testonly Automatic update from web-platform-tests [cssom-view] Make matchMedia tests not racy. PRs #18390 #19841 introduced a bunch of new tests. I saw some of them being filed as flaky in Gecko and this is why. Random timeout is not a good way to wait for events being reported. Instead, wait for to RAF callbacks, as that guarantees that "Update the rendering steps" runs at least once. -- wpt-commits: f67dffb715254be99a853822752cd6bdf8325cf2 wpt-pr: 20712

Bug 1602688 [wpt PR 20692] - Fix the order of operations in pipeTo, a=testonly Automatic update from web-platform-tests Fix the order of operations in pipeTo Previously, Blink's implementations of pipeTo and pipeThrough did some initialisation operations in the wrong order. This was done to simplify the code when there were two implementations. Now only the native implementation remains, it is simpler to do the operations in the correct order. In particular, switch the order of checking options w.r.t. checking the locked status of the streams to match the standard. Also add tests to verify the order is correct. Bug 1602100 [wpt PR 20664] - [wptrunner] Attempt to fix EXTERNAL-TIMEOUT, a=testonly Automatic update from web-platform-tests [wptrunner] Attempt to fix EXTERNAL-TIMEOUT (#20664) After #20321, we now sometimes see an error from mozlog when the new external timeout is triggered: "ERROR test_end for ... logged while not in progress" A theory is that we call test_ended from a different thread which might not have all the correct states. This attempted fix switches to sending a test_ended message to the queue instead, similar to what TestRunner does normally. In doing so, we also need to treat duplicate test_ended messages as non-fatal errors. Hopefully this fixes #20607 . -- wpt-commits: 622d7254cb5a3bed5b621bda39882c3338aaf35f wpt-pr: 20664

Bug 1602076 [wpt PR 20663] - Change input.validity.* to not depend on willValidate, a=testonly Automatic update from web-platform-tests Change input.validity.* to not depend on willValidate Prior to this change, disabling (or marking readonly) an input would cause input.validity.* to become always true, because willValidate became false. The spec [1] isn't completely clear but appears to say that input.validity.* should give the state of validation, independent of whether the control will actually be validated. Other browsers, including Firefox, behave this way already. This CL also adds testing of most validity.* accessors with disabled=true, readonly=true, and both true. Most of these tests fail without this CL in place, confirming the bug. Bug 1602855 [wpt PR 20708] - [LayoutNG] Fix hyphens when rewinding occurs, a=testonly Automatic update from web-platform-tests [LayoutNG] Fix hyphens when rewinding occurs This is a re-land of: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1868534 The original patch caused a regression and was reverted for crbug.com/1028817. A test was added for the case at: https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/1941451 The problem happened when |HandleOverflow| tried to break a text item but it didn't fit. |NGLineBreaker| looks for previous opportunities and rewind, but items it tried to break were modified, which confused |NGLineBreaker|. The old patch stopped rewinding there. The new approach is to restore the original item when it failed to break so that it can always see the original items. :: The original description follows :: This patch removes |NGLineInfo::LineEndFragment|, which was introduced to support hyphens and ellipsis with the single code. However, ellipsis was changed to use different code, and |LineEndFragment| ended up with non-optimal way to handle hyphens. Although hyphens appear at most once in a line, storing this to |NGLineInfo| makes harder to keep it in sync with the hyphenated item. This patch changes it to a field in |NGInlineItemResult|. Bug 1603382 [wpt PR 20642] - [FlexNG] Add support for OOF-positioned static-positions within FlexNG., a=testonly Automatic update from web-platform-tests [FlexNG] Add support for OOF-positioned static-positions within FlexNG. This builds on previous changes to (finally!) add the correct static-positions within the NGFlexLayoutAlgorithm. This takes into account the main-axis, and cross-axis alignment/justification - and converts it to the correct inline/block axis. As we may not know the final block-size when we encounter an OOF-positioned node, we "adjust" this within the fragment builder once known. This is important for block-end/block-center aligned OOF-positioned nodes.
